Ramblings

we link our hands
and close our eyes;
we lay on the bed
for hours at night

cuddling and snuggling and spooning
away from the world’s moaning and groaning

the moments we spend on the couch
you on top, with our tongues attached;
just like the ones in the car
and the photobooths in the park

those ticks on the beach
with our bodies attached;
in the cold winter nights
with the full moon alight

i recall the time we first met
that first touch, that first kiss;
right there and then
i fell in love

sweet unconditional love
